Through a blend of coursework, experiential learning, and practical experiences, students in our program gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to address complex social issues, mobilize resources, and create sustainable change through philanthropy and nonprofit organizations. They engage with cutting-edge research and best practices in philanthropy, nonprofit management, fundraising, strategic planning, and social entrepreneurship.

The Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Development curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including nonprofit governance and leadership, financial management, grant writing and fundraising strategies, program evaluation, ethics and accountability, and advocacy and public policy. Students also have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as international development, social justice advocacy, arts administration, or environmental conservation, depending on their interests and career goals.
