Introduction
The Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Study of Addiction (ACSA) offers students an opportunity for in-depth study of addictive processes and disorders. This part-time, online program offers the study of the latest research in addiction and is appropriate for a diverse range of individuals in health and social services, program developers, policymakers, or researchers.
Program Outcome
- Summarize addiction research in the sciences and social sciences
- Evaluate and criticize approaches to managing addiction
- Interpret knowledge of addiction in clinical contexts

- ACSA 5000 – Addiction and Addictive Disorders (3.00 credit hours)

Please note that admission into a program is not a guarantee you’ll receive award funding. This admission award has no application and you will be assessed at the time you apply for admission. Additionally, you will be considered for Graduate Assistantships work at the time of admission and your supervisor may be able to offer you a Research Assistantship or stipend (ask your supervisor about that possibility).
