In recent years, foreign trade and the internationalization of companies have become a fundamental piece for the economy of countries and the development of economic operators, from large multinationals to small family businesses or even self-employed workers.
For all this, with the Master's Degree in Foreign Trade Management you will be able to train in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary way, covering all aspects of international business and commercial management.
UNIR 's Master's in Foreign Trade is mainly aimed at executives and middle managers, but also at self-employed workers and professionals from different sectors so that they can face the challenges and opportunities presented by the market with solvency.
Objectives of the Master
The objective of this Master is to train professionals with the skills to:
- Understand the legal (agreements to avoid double taxation, online taxes and internet tax havens), fiscal, economic, financial, commercial and strategic foundations of foreign trade operations.
- Advise with professional rigor any functional area of the company dedicated to foreign trade.
- Analyze the main information systems used in traditional logistics and electronic logistics or e-Logistics, as well as design, develop and evaluate the feasibility of a business internationalization project.
- Evaluate agreements with an expert faculty to avoid double taxation, online taxes and internet tax havens, international marketing, world economic environment, international transport and logistics, international trade legal environment, financial management and risk management.
- Face the big questions and problems of business management and internationalization, supporting you with real cases and issues, oriented at all times towards practice.

Live online classes
We offer students the opportunity to attend live online classes every day. During these sessions, students will be able to interact with the teacher and solve their queries in real time, sharing knowledge and experiences. The training rhythm is adapted, as far as possible, to the needs of each group of students. Not attending a live class does not mean missing it. All sessions can be viewed delayed, as many times as you like. Thus, students who cannot follow the class live are not harmed.

UNIR Virtual Campus provides a wide variety of content with which to prepare each subject. These materials are organized in a way that facilitates agile and effective learning. In this way, it is possible to access the topics that develop the contents of the program, key ideas of each topic (prepared by the teaching staff of the subject), complementary audiovisual material, activities, readings and evaluation test.

The UNIR Master of Foreign Trade offers you the opportunity to carry out professional internships in companies and institutions related to foreign trade and internationalization. It is an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the master's degree, as well as face real situations and cases. They may be in person or virtual, with the option of taking them both in your place of residence and in any other country, within or outside the European framework.
To facilitate your access to internships, UNIR has collaboration agreements with more than twenty companies around the world that operate in different sectors and markets.
If you already have work experience, it is possible to request validation of your internship, as long as you have a minimum of 360 accredited hours.
Trabajo Fin de Máster
The Master's Thesis (TFM) is the culmination of your training in the UNIR Master of Foreign Trade. This is a project that allows you to apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course to a real case. The TFM can be oriented towards two main lines of work: a foreign trade plan or a business internationalization plan. In both cases, you must include an analysis of the company's internationalization potential, market research and selection, and an economic and financial plan, with the strategy and actions to be developed.
To complete the TFM you have the opportunity to participate in RED Projectum, an innovative project that connects the world of work with our master's degree. You will work on specific situations in real companies, which will provide you with a briefing with the problem or need they want to solve. This way, you will be able to offer innovative and practical solutions that add value to the company and your resume. The RED Projectum allows you to help different entities in aspects such as business internationalization, the identification of export opportunities, the development of global solutions, international talent or support in foreign trade strategy.

Financial aid program
We have 17 scholarships of 1,000 euros each for this fall 2024 call. They are aimed at students of UNIR 's Professional Program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to promote and facilitate access to Higher Education and thus contribute to defraying the expenses derived from their postgraduate studies.
English language immersion courses, for master's degree holders in teaching and teachers
The extract of the Resolution of July 10, 2023, which calls for 315 grants to participate in English language immersion courses for teachers already qualified in Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, is published in the BOE. , Vocational Training and Language Teaching.
Requirements
- Have completed the Master's Degree in any of the specialties in any of the following academic years: 2021-2022, 2020-2021 or 2019-2020 with an average academic record grade of at least 7.50 points.
- Have completed the Master's degree in Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate Teacher Training, Vocational Training and Language Teaching in one of the following academic years: 2021-2022, 2020-2021 or 2019-2020 with an average grade in the master's degree. at least 7.50 points.
ERASMUS+ mobility plan
After achieving the ECHE (Erasmus Higher Education charter), UNIR is working on an ambitious mobility plan, conditioned by our virtual nature, based on a new Office created for this purpose, which will be in charge of coordinating all actions in that area.

Within the mobility actions of the Erasmus+ program, UNIR also participates in the international internship modality. The Erasmus+ learning mobility program allows you to do up to 12 months of mobility between internships and training within the same degree, and even carry out this once you have finished or concluded your studies.
