Introduction
The MSc Finance (Banking) is designed for postgraduates wanting to enter the banking sector and professionals already working in financial or neighbouring sectors who are looking to gain a competitive advantage while deepening their knowledge in financial management, particularly in core banking activities (maturity/risk mismatch management), retirement and financial planning, commercial credit and factoring, and liquidity and risk management.
The MSc Finance (Banking) enables you to deepen your understanding of financial markets, banks, and their relation to economic performance. It provides a sound platform for advancing your career in finance and policy. Because finance is so wide-ranging, this degree enables you to choose between Banking and three other majors:

Program delivery
The MSc Finance (Banking) is made up of six modules. Each module lasts for 10 weeks. You can only take one module at a time, but each module is typically available in at least two of the year's study sessions. This gives you the flexibility to plan your studies throughout the year, enabling you to fit your course around your professional, family, and personal commitments.
Online Academic Tutor
You will be individually assigned an online academic tutor for the duration of each module, with whom you can discuss academic queries at regular intervals during the study session. You will also have a named administrator providing you with help and advice throughout your studies.
Virtual Learning Environment
To make your experience as a distance learning student more complete and rewarding, you will have access to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which is a web-based learning environment.
Through the VLE, you can communicate with your assigned academic tutor, administrators, and other students on the module using discussion forums. The VLE also provides access to each module's Study Guide and assignments, as well as a selection of electronic journals.
