This programme has been built for professionals, executives, functional experts, leaders, and decision-makers in real estate, finance, investment, engineering, and construction. It’s also ideal for those from complementary or adjacent sectors aiming to disrupt or transition into the real estate market. With a broad industry outlook, the programme will equip traditional real estate businesses and professionals, as well as those aiming to break into the market, with the skills to respond to industry change. Property investors and venture capitalists will learn to better harness opportunities in start-ups and PropTech, and be equipped to build resilient portfolios that withstand the changes that global trends, innovation, and disruption bring. Experienced professionals working in technology, business development, or real estate sales will gain holistic insight into a shifting landscape. There are no prerequisites for this course, but an understanding of maths and finance will be beneficial to participants.
During the programme, professionals will have the opportunity to network with industry experts and leaders from around the world. Upon completion, you will join the Saïd Business School e-lumni community and gain access to the Oxford Saïd Executive Education Alumni group on LinkedIn.*

Over the duration of this online programme, you’ll work through the following modules:
- Module 1: Real estate – The asset in the context
Explore the current real estate universe and the context that will shape its future. - Module 2: Real estate investment and finance
Learn how to appraise real estate using a model based on first principles. - Module 3: The future of commercial real estate markets
Learn about the future of the commercial real estate occupier markets and consider strategies to prepare for it. - Module 4: The future of housing and residential property markets
Explore the balance between housing as a social need and an investment opportunity. - Module 5: Development, sustainability, and the future of cities
Discover how buildings and cities can adapt to become more sustainable. - Module 6: The future of real estate funds, portfolios, and capital markets
Learn how to create and pitch a new investment product that will improve an investment portfolio.

Will I have the time?
GetSmarter's learning model is designed to help you, as a working professional, improve your skills without compromising on work and family responsibilities. The programme work is broken up into weekly, manageable modules, with incremental deadlines, designed to help you pace yourself over the duration of the programme, and allow you the flexibility to work when it suits you best.
At the beginning of each week, you'll be presented with all the lectures, notes, and assignments necessary for completion. Once registered you’ll be assigned a personal Success Manager. You will have access to your Success Manager, who will help you set goals and track key milestones, manage your time, and field any administrative requests you might have.
What is the online campus?
The Online Campus (OLC) will be your virtual classroom for the duration of your programme. Through its easy-to-use interface, you'll have access to a diverse variety of programme content formats, including interactive video lectures, module notes, practice quizzes, Prezis, assignment briefs, and additional web resources.
On the Online Campus, you'll also be able to ask questions and interact with your fellow students and Head Tutor through the OLC discussion forums. If you're experiencing tech issues or need advice from your personal Success Manager, you can use the OLC to get in touch.
