Introduction
This general design certificate focuses on developing creative design thinking to address problems in every aspect of life. The design module features an online design studio, social networking and inspiring study materials alongside a practical component. As well as design, you’ll choose a complementary subject to gain skills and knowledge in an area that fits your needs and interests.

- studying a mixture of printed and online material – online learning resources may include websites, audio/video media clips, and interactive activities such as online quizzes
- using mathematical and scientific expressions, notations and associated techniques or working with specialist reading material such as works of art and musical manuscripts
- working in a group with other students

- You’ll study a 60-credit design module and 60 credits from a choice of modules in complementary subjects.
