Since NYU Steinhardt’s founding in 1890, we have upheld our mission to advance creativity, innovation, and knowledge as it intersects with education, human development, and culture. We educate undergraduate and graduate students for social change with programs in education, media, health, the arts, and applied psychology. Committed to public service, we provide our students with learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom, and our faculty members are distinguished leaders in their respective fields.
