Why the Bachelor of Design?
Design was never as important as it is now. It is part of our daily lives because we can find the design in every product we use, in the websites we visit or in all the applications that we install on smartphones.
The London School of Design and Marketing Design Degree will help you build a career in the creative world and can be the impetus you need to reach new goals, unleash your creative side, and create powerful projects that inspire and influence people. The Degree in Design rests on three key points:
Knowledge: a contemporary and comprehensive understanding of concepts, tools, history and design methods in general, as well as the links between the main areas of activity;
Competencies: ability to create, plan, implement and manage projects successfully using the knowledge acquired;
Attitude: develop personal characteristics such as flexibility, empathy, realism and entrepreneurship.
The LSDM Design Degree is exclusively online and is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Learning Skills
The Degree in Design prepares professionals for the various areas of design, providing advanced, comprehensive, coordinated and supported by the latest developments in the scientific and technological fields. The LSDM Design Degree course plan was developed and divided into 3 distinct steps:
Step 1
The first stage, corresponding to the first year of the course, aims to prepare LSDM students for the various areas of design through a contemporary and comprehensive understanding of the concepts, tools, history and methods of design in general. It also aims to cover the links between the main areas of activity (such as communication, interaction and product design) through the development of a comprehensive view of themes associated with the mission of design, its interaction with markets and its role in society.
Step 2
The second stage, corresponding to the second year of the course, aims to instill solid skills for the development and implementation of projects, articulated around the main areas of communication design, interactive design and product design. Students will be able to:
Identify and analyze: analyze the environment in which problem solving takes place, think creatively, identify the conditions and objectives associated with problem solving, and identify the resources and skills needed;
Making choices: making decisions, understanding the uncertainties and associated risks, anticipating the future implications of decisions and developing the ability to reason;
Integrate: processes and diversity of interests while increasing flexibility and innovation;
Implement: planning and organization, creation of appropriate environments, implementation and control, development of creative skills in the project design and execution phases.
Step 3
The third stage, corresponding to the third year of the course, aims to consolidate the knowledge acquired in previous curricular units and progress with self-confidence, realism and entrepreneurship. It will be at this stage that LSDM students will develop their final course project through the following skills:
Flexibility: being able to handle a variety of design projects and adapt to changing circumstances as a multi-skilled professional and open to working in a multidisciplinary team;
