Embark on your Project Management Journey!
Initiate and execute projects, taking charge of every aspect from team composition to processes and outcomes. This demands a blend of technical, sociological, and psychological knowledge, all of which are seamlessly provided by IU's M.A. Project Management. Throughout the course, students not only grasp established methods but also refine their soft skills, crucial for leading teams and effectively communicating complex ideas.
Planning and implementing projects, owning all aspects from the makeup of the team to the processes and their results. This requires technical, sociological, and psychological knowledge, which IU's M.A. Project Management offers in equal measures. The 120-ECTS course is perfect for students who already have a degree in economics or engineering. Over the length of the course, students learn established methods as well as hone their soft skills which are vital to lead teams and communicate complex ideas.
The two-semester 60-ECTS program is aimed at anyone with qualifications from outside the field who has already gained professional experience in project management after completing their first degree.

Curriculum
You’ll begin your studies by developing your familiarity with project management best practices, project management requirements, the strategic aspects of making managerial decisions, and leadership principles.
Later on, you’ll focus on change management, agile work, creative work systems, and soft skills such as interpersonal communication.
In this highly orientation-focused program, you’ll apply your new skills in a practical project simulation, to gain real, work-ready experience.
You’ll also have the chance to deepen your skills with an elective topic of your choice (or two, depending on your program). You have a wide selection of modules to choose from, be they international project management standards such as SCRUM or Prince2, or topics from the wider world of business administration.
