Introduction
Digitalization, new work, and a diverse workforce present managers with new challenges. The world is becoming increasingly connected, digital, and complex – and companies need talents like you who know the way forward. In your English-taught management distance learning program, you will learn how the economy works and which factors influence business success. You will also acquire personal, intercultural, and social competencies. The first step to your job as a manager: Your online distance learning program at the IU International University.
Today’s managers face challenges such as digitalization, new work and a diverse workforce. In your English-language online study programme Management, you will learn how the economy works and which factors contribute to industrial success. You will gain personal, intercultural and social competencies, ideally preparing you for a future in an international environment. You get to choose three elective subjects from a variety of topics. Do “Business ethics and sustainability”, “Digital product development” or “IT service management” sound good to you?

Your courses
Right at the start of your study programme, you will learn the basics of business administration and collaborative work. Next, you will gain intercultural and ethical decision-making skills and improve your digital skills. In addition, you will learn about intercultural psychology and humanities. In the following semesters, you will learn how to act and think like an entrepreneur in courses such as “Digital Business Models” and “Leadership 4.0”. You also study two foreign languages of your choice to prepare yourself for a promising future in internationally operating companies.
