Bachelor in Economics and Business Management

The programme equips students with the skills and self-confidence to effectively manage and adapt to a wide range of competitive and constantly changing business environments in the international arena.

The Bachelor in Economics and Business Management is divided into two main paths:

• Business Management: an international management path in the English language;
• Financial Management: an international path aimed at business management with a special focus on financial issues in the English language.

Business Management pathway allows students:

1) to develop skills related to the business administration and management;

2) to understand the business processes and functions (from resource management to production and transformation processes, to sales and after-sales services, to marketing and business communication);

3) to deepen inter-functional problem solving between different manufacturing and operating functions of the same company;

4) to acquire the necessary knowledge to start an independent professional activity.

This course is proposed, in particular, to offer an international education, aimed at deepening the management and financial aspects of companies operating in the global market.

Financial Management pathway provides the necessary skills for business management and administration, focusing on the analysis of the aspects related to the management under the financial profile.

At the end of the programme the students will be able to deal with the following activities:

1.Professional activities (managerial and entrepreneurship) in the field of management, economics and finance in the organisations of various types such as public and private enterprises, profit and non-profit organisations of various sectors, including social services;

2.Professional activities through freelancing (self-employment) in the field of management, economics and finance;

3.Continuation of the studies through a Master’s degree course in the same disciplinary area (branch of science).

How to study

The Internet-based training activities take place in a web-based macro-area which is called the Didactic Cyberspace. In the Didactic Cyberspace, the training and learning process takes place and accesses are diversified through customized login and password based on the role of the players in the educational path: professors, tutors, and students. Lessons and online on-demand activities are available 24h/day together with live streaming virtual classrooms and recorded virtual classrooms (https://goo.gl/jY26qD).
