Menéndez Pelayo International University Scholarships
The UIMP is launching a call for study aid for university Master's degrees (partial tuition payment scholarships), with the aim of promoting participation in its postgraduate studies to enrolled students who have a brilliant academic career. The conditions of the call, modalities, requirements, incompatibilities, deadlines and processing are published each academic year on the UIMP website.
Becas del Programa ALUMNI
Former students of the Ortega-Marañón University Institute will be entitled to a 5% discount on any new program they enroll in. This discount, which will be considered a scholarship, will be applied to the tuition price, excluding the fees paid to the reference University. The discount will be applied in the last installment of the registration payment.
To qualify for this scholarship, the student will have to submit an application to the Institute's secretariat, as well as documentation proving that he or she has been a student of the Institute.
In no case will this discount be applied to second or successive registrations for subjects that have not been approved or to subjects of the same program that have not been taken in the first year of registration.

Virtual Methodology and Session Calendar
General description. The first online edition of the Master in Government and Public Administration will begin in March 2024. This Master's Degree has been recognized, for several consecutive years, as one of the best postgraduate programs in Spain in the area of political science and Administration according to the ranking of the newspaper El Mundo. The program offers the possibility of accessing doctoral studies at any university within the European Higher Education Area.
Methodology. With a multidisciplinary vision, this program offers solid theoretical and practical knowledge through the application of innovative methodologies and tools typical of the public sphere. The case method, problem solving and other active learning methodologies will be key to promoting the development of general and specific competencies in the participants.
Synchronous sessions. The teaching of the subjects will include the scheduling of synchronous sessions with the subject teachers, as well as the organization of keynote lectures and workshops with Ibero-American experts from the public sector. Participants will be able to interact with teachers and participate in debates with the rest of their classmates.
Evaluation system. The evaluation activities will be individual and group. They will focus on the resolution of practical cases, the analysis and discussion of readings of academic interest and the preparation of reports or proposals where concepts and methodological tools are applied to address the challenges of public organizations.
Dedication of the participants. The master's degree is designed so that participants combine their work activities with academic obligations. From the beginning of the program they will have a detailed academic calendar with the synchronous sessions and training activities that they will have to carry out during the academic year.
Program Outcome
Aimed at university graduates who work or want to start their professional career in areas such as the public sector, third sector organizations, consulting and technical assistance organizations, private sector, universities and international organizations. The main objective is to deepen the knowledge of the organization and functioning of a political system; provide the necessary skills for the management of government and public administration; and foster a critical spirit, offering necessary tools to address problems and draw conclusions based on knowledge and experience.
