BSc (Hons) syllabus
The BSc (Hons) Sustainable Maritime Operations, awarded by the University of Plymouth, is particularly suited to those with professional experience in the maritime world or an academic interest in the subject.
Delivered by part-time distance-learning, the programme is designed to fit in around working professionals careers and home commitments.
Aimed at those who wish to gain a full bachelors degree, possibly upgrading from prior academic achievement (for example, a Foundation degree).
Module topics include maritime industry in the 21st century; metocean processes and impacts; maritime regulation and governance and maritime operations.
Students can also study an optional research project module in order to achieve an Honours degree.
