This graduate certificate will equip you with communication (oral and written) skills to investigate, analyse and present technical ideas, information and solutions on Industrial Automation problems and projects in a professional, independent and organised manner, individually and in teams, within the engineering domain.
Upon completion of this graduate certificate, graduates will be able to identify, critically analyse and creatively solve intellectually complex, specialised engineering problems in industrial process control systems, industrial automation and process control systems relevant to Industrial Automation, individually or in groups, underpinned by critical analysis, innovation, evaluation, synthesis, accountability, machine learning and sound engineering judgement of solutions relevant to the engineering domain. You will use skills in established systematic design and project management methodologies to source, analyse, synthesise, design and communicate projects and information individually or in collaboration with others as team members and leaders.

Program delivery
Our graduate certificates take six months to complete. We deliver our online graduate certificates on a part-time intensive basis. Part-time Students are expected to spend approximately 10-15 hours per week per unit learning the program material and completing assessments. This includes attending tutorials.
