Focus of the programme is project management in the field of IT and on light weight models such as Kanban, Scrum and the like. The program will help you establish a solid foundation in project management knowledge and skills.

The Programme is provided entirely at distance and enables you to choose the time and place for your studies. The idea is that the program will be available to all, regardless of where you are located in the world. The training is ideal for anyone wishing to continue their education or to combine work with studies, but who has limited ability to regularly attend lectures and seminars.

This is a half-time study pace online programme with no Campus meetings or lectures in Stockholm Sweden. The programme takes two years to complete.

Graduates of the programme will be eligible for positions as project managers in almost any field within the IT industry, in large or small organisations.

How to Apply

A Bachelor’s degree or a degree equal to 180 ECTS including an essay project of at least 15 credits or equivalent.

60 ECTS in computer science, systems science, informatics or information systems.

Mandatory motivation letter, maximun one A4 page.

All courses and programmes at Stockholm University require proof of proficiency in English.

Funding Information

Students with citizenship in countries outside the EU/EEA, or Switzerland, are required to pay application and tuition fees for university studies in Sweden.

The application fee is 900 SEK (Swedish kronor) for each registration (regardless of the number of search options)
The tuition fee for this Master’s Programme at 50% study pace is 67 500 SEK (Swedish kronor) each academic year.

Students pay for one semester at the time in advance. The first instalment of the tuition fee must be paid in order for the Swedish Migration Agency to start processing an application for resident permit for studies.

Students with citizenship in countries within the EU/EEA, or Switzerland, are not required to pay application and tuition fees for studies at Stockholm University.
