Introduction
The Texas A&M Energy Institute's Certificate in Energy is designed to cultivate future leaders in the energy sector. It caters to both students and professionals seeking education in the dynamic energy research domain. Through quantitative analytical methods and multi-scale systems-based approaches, the program explores high-impact and interdisciplinary aspects of energy. Participants gain insights into diverse energy facets, from technology overviews (fossil-based, renewable, and non-fossil-based) to energy systems engineering, economics, law, security, policy, and societal impact.
The Certificate in Energy is a 15-credit program earned by taking 10 courses from the Master of Science in Energy (MSE) degree program. Each course is 1.5 credit hours.
The program is open to individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
