Introduction
Become a leader in the criminal justice field by continuing your education. Anna Maria College's online M.S. in Criminal Justice prepares you for career advancement through a combination of relevant coursework and hands-on skill development.
You can customize your studies by adding a specialization or certificate to your program. Specialization options include Leadership and Administration, Homeland Security, and Emergency Management. Certificate options include Victim Studies and Domestic and International Terrorism. Students who have previously earned a master's degree in another discipline are also eligible to pursue a certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies. Any of these specializations or certificates can be added to the criminal justice master's curriculum through elective credit.
Certified law enforcement professionals with three to five years of field experience can choose to enroll in the Mid-Career Track, where their previous work experience counts for up to six credits toward their degree. These students complete a streamlined curriculum and can finish their degree in 10 months.
The M.S. in Criminal Justice program is certified by the Massachusetts Department of Education's Quinn Bill, so Anna Maria graduates are eligible for the pay incentives outlined in the Police Career Incentive Pay Program (PCIPP). Graduates of this program are qualified for management-level roles in law enforcement, the court system, corrections, and more.
