Introduction
In a rapidly changing world, organizations need effective leaders who can adapt to meet challenges.
Named one of the top leadership certificate programs in the United States, the UC Davis Graduate School of Management Leadership Program aims to build executives who can lead through times of change and crisis, and motivate teams to reach their objectives.
Based on the Situational Leadership Model, this program will give you the chance to lead a fictional team through varying scenarios while assessing your role within this environment. Over eight weeks, you’ll examine ways to adapt your behavior to achieve the goals of your organization, as well as the needs of the individual or group you’re leading. The curriculum focuses on three key areas: the self as a leader, your relationship with your team, and the workplace environment in which your teams are situated.
You’ll walk away with:
A situational leadership decision aid that can be used to guide your leadership approach
A set of practical leadership skills to help motivate your teams to achieve organizational goals
An understanding of personality theory and the ability to apply it throughout various leadership scenarios
Key leadership insights from industry experts and UC Davis faculty
Validation of your skills in the form of a certificate of completion from a highly ranked business school
