Are you prepared to implement an artificial intelligence (AI) strategy in your business?

The Artificial Intelligence Strategy online short course from the UC Berkeley School of Information (I School) aims to equip students with a nuanced understanding of AI technologies and their practical impact on business. Course Structure

The UC Berkeley School of Information (I School) is collaborating with online education provider GetSmarter, a 2U, Inc. brand, to make their research and teaching globally accessible. With 24 hour support from dedicated success managers, students will experience flexible learning (7–10 hours per week) that’s entirely online and receive expert feedback on their work from assigned Head Tutors. Working professionals are able to discuss the tech solutions shaping organizations, as they network and collaborate online with classmates from around the globe. At the end of six weeks, students will earn an I School certificate of completion as validation of their achievement.

While there are no acceptance criteria or registration fees, you’ll need a current email account and access to a computer and the internet, as well as a PDF reader. You may need to view Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and read and create documents in Microsoft Word or Excel. The course content does not cover how to code and no prior programming knowledge is required.

Will I Have the Time?

GetSmarter's learning model is designed to help you, as a working professional, improve your skills without compromising on work and family responsibilities. The course work is broken up into weekly, manageable bite-sized modules, with incremental deadlines, designed to help you pace yourself over the duration of the course, and allow you the legroom to work when it suits you best.

At the beginning of each week, you'll be presented with all the lectures, notes, and assignments necessary for completion. You also have access to your Success Adviser who will help you set goals and track key milestones, manage your time, and field any administrative requests you might have.

The Online Learning Campus (OLC) will be your virtual classroom for the duration of your course.
