This Diploma is designed for anyone who wants a broad overview of the history of astrology, its controversies, the links between astrology, astronomy, and other fields, and various ways astrology has been and is being practised.
Students take 130 weeks of instruction. 60 weeks are focused on the Fundamentals of natal astrology and predictive techniques. All courses below are 10 weeks unless otherwise noted.

M100 Chart Mechanics
V100A Crash Course in Vedic Astrology (5 weeks) or V101A (5 weeks) Introduction to Indian Astrology
WR201 Counseling Issues in Astrology. This course introduces the basic issues involved in interpreting a chart for someone else and exploring ethical considerations.
E300 or both E301a and E301b Astrological Heritage. Astrology has a rich heritage that is most often neglected in history books. This course corrects this oversight and gives the student a deeper understanding of astrology's roots by providing a 3,000-year overview.
E400 Astronomy for Astrologers. Astrology does not exist without astronomy. This course gives the astrologer a solid understanding of the solar system and the linkages between astronomy and astrology.
Electives - an additional 25 weeks or equivalent* in applied astrology
FinalDemonstration of Learning. This can be satisfied by an article or research project for publication or a community webinar presentation prepared with input from a Certificate instructor and critiqued.
*Or Equivalent means a series of workshops on interconnected topics which places focused material in context; presents alternate perspectives; requires demonstration of student competency; includes at least 10 hours of live student interaction plus additional online discussion forums, quizzes, assignments, and/or emails.
Students can petition to apply a course they have taken from another school to the electives, history, or astronomy courses required for this series. The course must meet the following requirements:
Must have a minimum of 20 hours auditory or live instruction
Must have assigned readings
Must have written homework
Must cover the historical and philosophical underpinnings of the content presented
Must have regular feedback and a final evaluation process that tests the student's knowledge
Students must provide written proof of successful course completion.
