Multicomprensive approach to the transformative moment that finance lives with the already inseparable adjective of "sustainable"
This course is planned from a multi-comprehensive approach to the transformative moment that finance is experiencing with the already inseparable adjective of “sustainable”, but also from the context in which it is produced, how it is developing and what to expect from all of this.
This is reflected in the specific content that includes a first module on Concepts and evolution of the sustainable economy in which the antecedents of what we now call sustainable economy are analyzed: on the one hand, from the evolution and integration by the private sector and , on the other, at the institutional level, with the impulse of different multilevel organizations.
The second module, Sustainable Finance. From A to G passing through S, it is exclusively dedicated to sustainable finance: its evolution, regulation and development and implementation by entities, as well as the more technical operation of the services or products at the service of the objectives in terms of sustainability.
A third module, Governance of sustainability, introduces the keys about two aspects where sustainability has a fundamental impact on the behavior of companies, including, but not only, those of the financial sector: internal governance and transparency (non-financial reporting ).
Today talking about the future is also talking about the present and, therefore, a fourth module of trends is incorporated that will mark the future of sustainability in economic and financial terms (Trends: the future of sustainability): the circular economy, digitization and recovery plans after the COVID-19 crisis.
This course, therefore, fits sustainable finance in its context, combining, on the one hand, the technical and legal knowledge that is adapting the reality of financial products and services, with a broader vision around the very concept of sustainability and its impact on the economy and the financial world.objectiveThe objective of this program is to provide the necessary knowledge to develop any activity in the field of sustainable finance or sustainable business development. To do this, it incorporates detailed and sufficient knowledge regarding its scope and internal functioning, including its integration into the vertical axis of companies and entities (how the integration of sustainability affects decision-making).
Likewise, it seeks to enhance the understanding of the scope of sustainability in terms of its double-sided impact: on the one hand, of sustainable activity in its environment and, on the other, of the legal and institutional environment in terms of sustainability, integrating itself into economic activity. and financial.Addressed toAll those who seek a specialization in sustainable finance without losing the context in which they develop both internally of the entities and in the economic environment in which they are integrated.Previous requirementsIt will be a necessary requirement to have, at least, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a sufficient knowledge of English.
