Speech Course and Spokesperson Training

Program Description

Speaking is a function that human beings perform every day, but nevertheless it is important to keep in mind that speaking is not the same as communicating. You can be talking for hours and not communicate anything (or even the opposite of what you are trying to say), and you can also communicate more with a single gesture without saying a word.

Learning to communicate is a basic tool for professional development, even professionals with technical profiles need to communicate the work they are developing and their projects. Even more so if what you want is to achieve positions of responsibility both in political representation and in management cabinets.

This course aims to provide the keys so that participants know how to communicate well in their professional field, as well as provide the necessary tools to serve as spokespersons for public organizations.

The course is carried out in its entirety virtually through the Campus of Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset .

One class per week is taught in streaming (four classes in total), each session lasting between 60 and 90 minutes, where in addition to the theoretical content there will be an open dialogue with the teacher.

In this class the teacher will also provide the guidelines for carrying out practical exercises at home related to each of the theoretical blocks and which will be delivered on the virtual campus. Each student will receive personalized feedback on their practice (which will be confidential), as well as general recommendations that the teacher will make at the beginning of the next session.

All streaming sessions will be recorded and made available to participants in case someone cannot connect live or wants to review the content again.
