Teaching, learning and assessment methods
All relevant material is provided and taught in the module texts and through the study of set books. You will build up your knowledge gradually, with sufficient in-text examples to support your understanding. You will be able to assess your own progress and understanding by using the in-text problems and exercises at the end of each unit. Opportunity to engage with what is taught is provided by means of the assignment questions and your understanding will be reinforced by personal feedback from your tutor in the form of comments based on the answers to your assignments.
Your understanding of principles, concepts and techniques will be assessed through tutor-marked assignments and the final three-hour examination on each module.
