Computational engineering is an interdisciplinary curriculum with a Doctor of Philosophy Degree available. Programs of study are personalized to the individual student. Many classes in computational engineering are taken through the departments of Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Math, and others. The online program is targeted to engineers and scientists working in the nation’s major national laboratories, such as the Department of Defense, NASA and the Department of Energy where high-performance computing assets are readily available.
