Energy studies focuses on the extraction, manufacture, distillation, and sale of resources used to create power for maintaining societies. This ranges from traditional materials such as firewood and dung to modern sources including fossil fuels and nuclear power as well as alternative energy sources and future models.

Norway (Norge) is the westernmost, northernmost — and in fact the easternmost — of the three Scandinavian countries. Norway is well known for its amazing and varied scenery. The fjords in the west of the country are long narrow inlets, flanked on either side by tall mountains where the sea penetrates far inland. A pathway program is a one-year introduction to a full degree curriculum and prepares international students for their entry into university.
