People (human resources) are viewed by most experts as the most important asset of any organization. Managing the people within an organization is often the most challenging and complex task required of a manager. The objective of the short program is to teach the basic principles of human resource management — how an organization acquires, rewards, motivates, uses, and generally manages its people effectively.
The People Management program starts during the first week of each month. Applications close on the 15th of the previous month.
The assessment of the SLP’s consist of quizzes, discussions, a final assignment, and an online test.
Mode of delivery
2 weeks. This excludes the additional time that is given to complete the final assessment.
After the successful completion of the People Management program, the student will receive a certificate issued and endorsed by the UFS. Recognition to the Higher Certificate in Management Development is available through RPL.
