  • Program Description: In today’s global economy, most major challenges facing organizations require computing solutions, from expanding markets overseas to providing access to education in rural areas. The most sought-after business leaders will be those who have mastered both fundamentals of business and achieved a high level of competency in information technology. The MIS B.S. curriculum will prepare students to meet this challenge while also gaining expertise in business concepts, organizational behavior and decision-making. The online courses are being developed and taught by the same faculty members who teach the traditional in-class sections of the courses. Curriculum The Bachelors in Management Information Systems curriculum is designed to provide the student with the analytical and practical framework and methodologies to analyze, design, implement, and manage complex information systems in contemporary organization structures. Students that finish the program receive technical and organizational knowledge that allows them to apply systems analysis strategies that are applicable in a variety of professional organizations.
