The Master of Chemical Engineering program is offered online via distance learning. After evaluating both academic record and life experience, AIU staff working in conjunction with Faculty and Academic Advisors will assist students in setting up a custom-made program, designed on an individual basis. This flexibility to meet student needs is seldom found in other distance learning programs. Our online program does not require all students to take the same subjects/courses, use the same books, or learning materials. Instead, the online Master of Chemical Engineering curriculum is designed individually by the student and academic advisor. It specifically addresses strengths and weaknesses with respect to market opportunities in the student’s major and intended field of work....

A bachelor's degree, GPA of 3.0 or better, in engineering, biology, chemistry, physics, or another technical field from an accredited institution
Successful completion of calculus I, II, and III, and differential equations
At least one course in biology
For non-engineering undergraduate degrees, we look for coursework indicating an aptitude for bioengineering. High marks in related undergraduate courses such as molecular biology and physical chemistry would indicate such aptitude.
Applicants who do not have an adequate background in engineering science will be required to take ENPM672, Fundamentals of Thermal Systems, in the...
