This University Master in Historical Analysis of the Current World is conceived as a Master in preparation for research and specialization and brings together 28 professors from five University Departments of Andalusia, specialists in Contemporary History and other related areas (Historiographic Sciences and Techniques, Modern History, History of America, Economic History and Sociology), and 6 teachers, from the Universities of Pittsburgh, the Basque Country, Costa Rica, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Complutense of Madrid (areas of Sociology; History of Political Thought; Contemporary History ; Economy, Ethics and Social Sciences; and Comparative Social History), which are linked to it through the International University of Andalusia, to respond to students' interest in developing a postgraduate course that specializes in the knowledge of a chronological period which starts in the late eighteenth and ends in our d ace, facing the understanding of the complex social, political, economic and ideological factors that affect us today.
