Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by RD 861/2010, establishes the organization of new official university studies. According to this decree, access to the university master's degree may be in the following situations:Access with an official Spanish university degree: Anyone who has an official university degree, or a graduate, engineer, certified architect, technical engineer or technical architect can apply for a place in a university master's degree.
Access with a university degree from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA): Anyone who has a university degree issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) can apply for a place in a university master's degree, which allows access to official master studies.
