In the University of West Florida’s clinically-focused, online Master of Social Work program, students prepare to enter advanced social work practice armed with specialized study in medical and behavioral health. This program meets educational course requirements for licensure as a clinical social worker in the state of Florida and is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
The advanced standing MSW program allows students who have earned a BSW degree from a CSWE-accredited social work program within the past seven years to fast-track their learning and complete their degree in as few as 20 months. Students explore topics including human behavior in the social environment, social service policy, clinical social work, and social work research. Students also complete hundreds of clinical hours so they begin their careers prepared to tackle challenges and make positive change.
UWF’s online MSW program prepares motivated learners to be clinical practitioners in a variety of areas including healthcare, mental health, substance abuse, gerontology, and military populations.
