A New Degree for Tomorrow’s Leaders in Law Enforcement
CalSouthern administration worked closely with an advisory board comprised of police chiefs and other law enforcement executive leaders to develop a curriculum that reflects current trends and best practices in criminal justice. Courses include organizational communication, administrative policy, technology management, strategic organizational planning, budget development, homeland security, corrections management, ethics, and cultural competency, among others.
Students in the MSLEEL program are provided Microsoft Office 365 at no additional charge, giving them access to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other popular Microsoft Office applications. Since it’s a cloud-based solution, students can access these applications at any time, from virtually any device—all that’s needed is an Internet connection. Not only is it a great academic resource that will help students more efficiently complete their coursework, it’s a great opportunity to develop expertise and familiarity with software and productivity tools commonly used in today’s law enforcement organizations.
