Program Description

In addition to the 85% scholarship for students outside the EU, all EU students (including England) will now also be offered a scholarship of 66%. Scholarships are not available to students from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at the current time.

A short overview of your study

  • Degree: Master of Science (M.Sc.)
  • Credits: 120 ECTS or 60 ECTS.
  • Start of study: Anytime (no fixed start date or enrolment deadlines for 120 ECTS program). The earliest start date for 60 ECTS: June 1st, 2020; currently in the accreditation phase, a minimum number of participants is required.
  • Study duration: Standard period of study: 12 months (60 ECTS) or 24 months (120 ECTS). Different time models possible.
  • Study model: Online study including online exams 24/7
  • Post-study work option: 18 months post-study work visa, EU Blue card. The final decision on the post-study visa is with the ministry and cannot be guaranteed by IUBH. Extra costs may incur for campus studies in the last semester.
  • Fees: starting from 329 euros per month (scholarships available), depending on study duration. Scholarships are not available to students from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at the current time.

Eligibility Criteria

Prerequisites for admission to the Artificial Intelligence Master program:

  • Completed undergraduate study from a public or officially recognized university/higher education institution (240 ECTS for the 60 ECTS variant, 180 ECTS for the 120 ECTS variant)
  • For the 60 ECTS versions of the program, students must also have completed the courses "Advanced Mathematics" and "Programming with Python" or provide comparable previous knowledge.
  • Degree certification of at least “Befriedigend” [lower second equivalent]
  • Proof of English skills

Access options (depending on the previous study):

  • For 240 ECTS from first degree: direct access possible
  • For 210 ECTS from first degree: must take a qualification test (TASC)
  • For 180 ECTS from first degree: must take a qualification test (TASC)
