Admission requirements

  • Students in the Master of Public Management and Governance online programme may be recruited from a cohort of students who have these qualifications:
  • An Honours Degree (NQF level 8) in public management and governance or a similar recognized qualification (substitutes include an appropriate postgraduate diploma or a 480-credit bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 120 credits at level 8 with a public administration or public management as major modules)
  • A minimum average of 65% in the major modules of a bachelor’s programme
  • Three years of mid-level managerial working experience in a public sector environment

Registration and Start Dates

Registration starts in January and lectures in February for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate course work programmes.

All research programmes for Masters and PhD can register throughout the year.
