At ECU Accelerated Online, you can choose between two course specialisations for your Master of Education. These specialisations are the most in-demand, fulfilling a large and growing need for individuals with expertise in these areas within educational settings in Australia.

What you will study
Each of these Master of Education specialisations comprises the same four core units and then four specialisation units.
The Master of Education (Early Childhood Education) will challenge you to reconceptualise and deepen your knowledge of effective pedagogy and practice, and critically reflect on the latest research and how it influences your role as an early childhood education leader.
The Master of Education (Leading Education) will instil in you the confidence to strategically and ethically lead your people and organisation to enhance learning outcomes for students and maintain the excellent reputation of your organisation in times of unprecedented change and a climate of increased public accountability in the education sector.

Accelerated and 100% Online
Delivered 100% online and with six study periods a year, you could complete the Master of Education in as little as 16 months while continuing to work full-time. Designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, you’ll experience the same quality of education and learning outcomes, as well as the connection with your fellow students and academics, that you would if studying on-campus. Entry criteria
Course admission requirements
To gain entry into the Master of Education, you will have a Bachelor of Education or a Bachelor level degree in any other field plus a Graduate Diploma of Education or Master of Teaching.
Special entry
Special entry may be considered for students with a Bachelor level degree in another area or a three-years trained teacher, both supported by extensive professional experience.
