Program Description

Designed for teachers who wish to prepare for administrative and supervisory positions such as principal, curriculum developer or dean in public and private elementary and secondary schools, the University of West Florida M.Ed. in Educational Leadership was recognized as one of the most affordable master’s degrees in educational leadership for 2018 by BestCollegesOnline.org, as well as one of the best online master’s programs in educational leadership for 2018 by BestColleges.com.
The curriculum meets the 10 Florida Principal Leadership Standards and associated competencies and seeks to prepare students for the Florida Educational Leadership Exam. Faculty who are experienced educators themselves provide mentorship to students in the 24-month program.
