The M.A. in Organizational Leadership teaches key organizational leadership elements such as ethics, motivation, creativity, vision, strategic planning, teamwork, group development, technology, customer service and organizational development. In the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship, we recognize the growing need for leadership specialization in the various industries for the future advancement of organizations. Therefore, we offer many different concentrations from which students can choose to focus their leadership development.
Outstanding Leadership Curriculum
The M.A. in Organizational Leadership provides students with a core curriculum of in-depth leadership and organizational development topics combined with a focused concentration in one of the several areas followed by a culminating project during which students conduct research or perform an organizational intervention that incorporates all the course content of the program.
Flexible Online Format
LMOL courses are available 100% online. When it comes to higher education, today's busy professionals require not only high-quality education but also flexible course schedules to fit their lives. The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership was designed to meet those requirements by using autonomous learning methods and communication technology. The program's online format allows flexibility and adaptability to accommodate almost any schedule and requires no on-campus residency. While residency is not required for the MOL program, the program offers students an opportunity to attend an optional two-day residency.
While all students pursuing the M.A. in Organizational Leadership (MOL) must complete 33 credit hours, it is the demonstration of independent scholarly ability at the master's level, rather than the mere accumulation of credits that are required to successfully complete the program. The program is structured as follows:
- 21 credit hours of required core courses
- 9 credit hours of concentration electives
- 3 credit hours of culminating experience
Full-time students can complete the Masters in Organizational Leadership in as little as 12 months. Regent University considers 9 credit hours to be full time. Part-time students can complete the program in approximately 16-36 months. The maximum time that is allowed to complete the M.A. in Organizational Leadership is five (5) years. An academic year is comprised of three semesters: fall, spring, and summer. Each semester is approximately 13 weeks in length.
While residency is not required for the MOL program, the program offers students an opportunity to attend an optional two-day residency.
The optional residency event provides an excellent opportunity to network with other students, learn more about Regent University and of course, meet personally with the faculty and staff of the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship.
Residency is conducted at the Founders Inn & Spa which is conveniently located adjacent to the University and provides exceptional accommodations including lodging, meeting rooms and wireless internet access throughout the property.
MOL students may attend the optional May residency one time at no cost other than personal transportation. GLE will cover the room for Thursday and Friday night and meals from Thursday evening through Lunch Saturday. Students or alumni who wish to attend additional residencies will have a fee of $600 to cover rooms, meals, speaker fees.
