Introduction
Develop the skills you need to lead a non-governmental organization and drive social improvement anywhere in the world with your Johns Hopkins Master of Arts in Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Management. Learn to manage a team, and understand how to apply critical analysis and problem-solving to find solutions to increase an existing organization's impact—or take everything you learn and create a new organization to focus on whatever issues spark your passion.
Our NGO Management program prepares graduates to enter the demanding field of NGO administration with everything they need to create successful change. You'll become familiar with the global governance framework in which NGOs operate, and the life cycle of public policy—as well as things that hinder or promote its successful implementation. Our curriculum explores the theory behind effective NGO leadership and includes a hands-on capstone to put what you learn to immediate use.
Focus Areas
