Program Description

International Cooperation always relates to two or more actors interested in exchanging knowledge, transferring techniques and technologies, skills or experiences, with the aim of collaborating in the search for mutually favorable solutions. This essential spirit of international cooperation has seen its presence increase in today's globalized society, now being a socio-political, economic and organizational sector that receives increasing attention and concern from international and local organizations, both public and private. , which makes international cooperation actors from multinationals and governments to local NGOs or foundations.

This is now a scenario that demands an increasing effort to achieve a professionalization of the sector so that the socio-ethical-organizational commitment is strengthened in the realization of projects that effectively reduce the inequalities that occur in today's society.

The Master in Design, Management and Management of International Cooperation Projects addresses this commitment by defining International Cooperation as the set of resources and possibilities that, actors needed to increase their possibilities of progress and economic and socio-organizational growth request, from other actors that They can cover and are willing to provide them. Given this perspective, a Cooperation Project that generates mutually favorable proposals / solutions is necessary.

Duration, credit structure and degree

The estimated duration of the Master Program in Design, Management and Management of International Cooperation Projects is 900 hours (90 credits). Regarding the distribution of time, it is established that:

  • Being a distance Program and not being subject to face-to-face classes, a specific start date is not established, so the student can formalize the enrollment at any time, provided there are places available.
  • For academic and learning reasons, a minimum duration of the twenty-one month Program is available.
  • The maximum time available for the Program is twenty-four months. In this period of time, the student must have successfully passed all the activities evaluated and approved the Final Project of Master or Thesis.

The Master in Design, Management and Management of International Cooperation Projects arises from the demand for professionalization in the sector with a vision of International Cooperation that highlights the importance of the project as a device that allows designing solutions with a systemic, comprehensive and global vision and, manage and direct the orchestration of resources and possibilities that allow an economic and socio-organizational benefit for all the actors involved.

The Master in Design, Management and Management of International Cooperation Projects a balanced and unique program that covers from the context and general theory of cooperation to the organizational, financial-economic, and human relations aspects of international cooperation projects, under a unique dual approach that privileges on the one hand the integral nature of the project in its Design, Management and Management phases, and on the other hand, the support and sustenance in ICT and cooperative and collaborative models of work and management.

The Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER) periodically allocates an extraordinary economic item for FUNIBER Training Scholarships.
