Program that provides the tools to face interior design projects, combining creativity with more rigid guidelines for the projection and material production of that idea or space.
Look around you and look at the space around you, in one way or another it has been thought from an intention, it has been designed to satisfy a specific need, to solve a problem.
In essence, this is one of the facets that defines design, a relatively young discipline in its teaching, but one that is part of our DNA and that emanates from our creative capacity to seek solutions for those problems that arise. For this, a transformation process is necessary that begins in the field of the idea and that ends up developing in this case tangible spaces, houses where to inhabit and develop a part of the life of every human being.
This is why the housing design market is extremely large, we all need a place to live, and it requires professionals capable of developing projects capable of adapting as a tailored suit to each user, where to transmit, not just some needs basic, but their own personality, a social projection.
However, the design of interior spaces is a more complex task than it may at first seem, consisting of a sum of various procedures that must be followed in order to successfully tackle the project. From the first ideas to the delivery of a work, several months go by in which a rigid, guided work methodology must be followed, which contrasts with the creativity of the idea, which is the heart of any project.
In the Master in Interior Design we are going to give the necessary tools for students to learn and develop a methodology, customizing it to their project language and allowing them to face their future interior design projects, starting from the field of creativity, helping to find a language tailored to each one that allows representing and expounding ideas with a cultural base behind, to imaginatively solve the different projects that may arise and thus face their complexities.
This methodology must combine creativity with the projection and material production of that idea in a space, following more rigid guidelines that involve the writing of the entire project in detail, the calculation and control of costs, the direction of the work, up to the delivery of the house to the client.
The main objectives of this program are:
- Acquire a personalized work methodology that allows optimizing, managing and controlling the different execution times of a project.
- Offer the tools to be able to direct, design and implement an interior design project from the beginning to the delivery of the work to the client.
- Keep an economic control of the work, from the presentation of the fees to the client, the measurements, control of the budgets and of the work.
- Deepen the knowledge of the different rooms to help project more agilely.
- Learn to control the project on its different scales until the construction details are developed.
- Provide the student with the knowledge and techniques of representation to present a visually ordered project.
- At the end of the course, students will have material generated to develop a digital portfolio, which allows them to promote themselves in the workplace.
