Information technology studies are created to provide students with technological skills and knowledge. They may explore how electronic data is created, processed and stored as well as topics such as security, hardware, software applications and artificial intelligence.

To gain admission into the Nigerian universities (both public and private universities are in every state of the federation including the FCT), a prospective student has to sit for and successfully pass the UME(Universities Matriculation Examination) which is administered by JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board). Also individual universities regularly screen prospective candidates to make sure they are up to par for university level work in Nigeria.

Master of Science degrees are advanced academic programs that are offered by colleges and universities to students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree. Earning an MSc may lead to greater professional and personal opportunities for graduates.
