You will develop a strong understanding of the foundations and dynamic nature of finance which will prepare you for a wide variety of positions within the finance profession. Our MSc in Financial Management programme has been approved by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) who exclusively recommend our programme to their members when they are looking for a specialist postgraduate qualification.
By studying online, our MSc in Financial Management programme has been designed to fit around the lives of busy working professionals. It gives you the freedom to choose where and when you begin your studies, and when you finish them. If you prefer a classroom setting however, you can choose to study with one of our Approved Learning Partners (ALP): Glamis Business School in Mauritius, the School of Business and Computer Science in Trinidad or iCon in Greece. To graduate, you must pass five core courses and four electives chosen from a list of seven. Your core courses are: - Accounting - Credit Risk Management - Derivatives - Finance - Financial Risk Management.
Typically you will hold a recognised first or second class honours degree, or equivalent professional qualification. But if you don’t, entry can still be gained by passing three MSc courses in the subject and two other core courses. Apply now
Each of the MSc’s courses is assessed by a three hour exam. You choose when you’re ready and we’ll provide an assessment centre near you. All courses are examined in our major exam sessions (diets) in June and December each year. Minor exam sessions are held in March and August; contact us for more details.
We may be able to award you an exemption if you hold a previous qualification in a relevant subject. Please note that these exemptions are only ever awarded at our discretion. More information can be found on our website.
