Business Plan Development:
Understand how to approach strategic IT business planning, and navigate the complexities new IT products and services bring to a business. You’ll cover the building blocks of planning, including specifying, evaluating, and prioritising the development of IT solutions, and generate a business plan relevant to your own working context.
Project and Portfolio Management:
Learn the various techniques available to effectively manage portfolios and projects in the IT environment. Discover how to successfully implement projects within any strategic plan through proper management, and build your experience through the application of project management tools.
You will evaluate positive stakeholder relationships in the successful deployment of IT projects, and explore the importance of environmental engagement and communication in developing supply chain relationships. Also considering effective feedback and complaints, you will demonstrate your knowledge in a group scenario.
Information Systems Governance:
As systems grow more complex, governance grows increasingly important. You’ll evaluate the role governance plays in mitigating risk and maximising the benefits of the reliance on systems and software. You’ll recognise the key role governance strategy plays, and audit current governance approaches for critique.
Cloud Systems and Applications:
You’ll evaluate the development of cloud computing systems, and their usage within organisations. This module considers the benefits, whilst providing you with a balanced understanding of the consequences of the distributed technologies. You will assess their changing nature, and critically analyse their implementation into the workplace.
This vital project gives you a chance to research an area of your choice, related to the programme theme, and develop your critical abilities. You’ll create a research proposal, choose between a conventional dissertation, or academic article and presentation, and then apply all of your knowledge from the programme, with the opportunity to link your research to your actual work needs.

A UK honours degree at a minimum of second class (2.2) or equivalent.
For students whose prior learning was not taught in English: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (no less than 6.0 in any element).
