Health Economics is one of the most impactful branches of economics. It is an applied science which involves the use of economic fundamentals and theories. It helps to understand how individuals, governments, hospitals and healthcare systems, and other stakeholders make decisions regarding the promotion of health and wellbeing of individuals and societies.
One of the aims of health economics is the promotion of a positive and healthy lifestyle and we aim to accomplish this through a rigorous study of all stakeholders involved in the delivery of services across the spectrum of healthcare. The focus is on creating efficiencies through process engineering, technology application, pricing, strategic investment, and modulation of the social fabric.
The Rushford MBA in Health Economics has been designed keeping in mind the needs of professionals who are currently involved in healthcare set up and would like to gain a formal qualification in Health Economics with a degree in Business and Management.
