Programme Structure and Course Content
The two-year programme is divided into four blocks that cover key business themes. Each block of 24 weeks consists of three courses.
There’s a week-long induction at the beginning of the programme, and a study break of at least one week between blocks. Please note, there may be additional holidays in your schedule depending on your start date.

We consider all applicants on an individual basis and welcome applications from those with non-standard qualifications and from a variety of backgrounds.
However, to be eligible to enrol on the MBA (Global), you will normally fulfil the following requirements:
A British second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.
A minimum of two years’ relevant professional experience.
English language skills will be assessed during the admissions process.*
*If we need further evidence of your English language proficiency, we may ask you to take one of the recognised tests such as IELTS.
How To Apply
The first step is to complete an application form.
You’ll then have an online discussion with an Admissions Advisor, who will be able to give you more information about the programme, answer any questions you have about studying with us, and advise you about fees and payment options.
Your advisor will ask you to provide evidence of your qualifications and experience. All of this takes place in a secure Admissions area.
Once in the Admissions area, you can complete your application.
The MBA (Global) is assessed entirely by coursework. We believe that assessment should be an integral part of your learning – allowing you to use your knowledge, skills and experience in context.
There are three types of assessment, each of which will mirror practice:
THEORY INTO PRACTICE
Critique and adopt a new theory or framework in your own professional context.
Address business challenges and devise innovative solutions by working collaboratively in teams.
Reflect on your learning experience and acquired knowledge to develop your management skills.
The tuition fee for the MBA (Global) programme is £17,200. You have the choice of three payment options:
- 1 Instalment of £17,200
- 2 Instalments of £8,600
- 4 Instalments of £4,300
University of Aberdeen alumni will receive a 20% scholarship towards their tuition fee. Electing to incorporate face-to-face events will incur an additional charge.
MBA (Global) candidates who are normally resident in England may be eligible for tuition fee loan funding through Student Finance England. Contact them directly for further details.
The Canadian Government provides student loans and grants to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
