Student testimonials about the course

“It is a wonderful, friendly place where you feel welcome as part of a family. The staff are supportive and encouraging in everything they do. They often go above and beyond what would be expected of them”.

“It is giving me the skills to evaluate my own professional practice and the courage to approach senior members of staff to give my evidence and recommendations. It allows me to think 'is my teaching good enough?' and make changes to it”.

“It is distance learning so it can be difficult at times to feel as though you are part of a group. However, the university offers workshops at weekends and writing retreats to enable us to meet and discuss ideas. It is also branching out to webinars so no matter where you live, you can participate in these workshops”.

“This is a professional course and is designed for people who are working within the educational field.  We do not have time during normal working hours to have meetings, but the staff here respond to emails quickly and will make time to meet you if you need them to”.

Students described the MAEPP programme and overall being ‘great value for money’.
