The main objective of the Degree in Law is to train legal professionals with the knowledge and skills needed in all areas essential to enable them to effectively carry out the tasks related to the interpretation and application of standards that make up the legal system.
The philosophy of law presides these studies is a change from how it was traditionally conceived the formation of a lawyer. At present, the rote learning of the enormous amount of rules that make up our legal system is impossible and, in most cases, useless. These studies provide access to a main degree of Bachelor of Laws, and guarantee superior legal training and general enough, that enables access to a wide range of positions in the labor market, among which include: - Posts in legal departments of companies (in the areas of personnel, audit and tax consulting and tax advice, legal, labor and human resources); in the commercial sector; insurance; mutual; cooperatives; banking and credit institutions; industrial sector, etc.. - The most common legal profession to which the training is directed is a solicitor and barrister, which is not enough to complete the degree in exercising, it will be necessary to overcome the training and corresponding assessment accredited by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Education through the procedure established (Law 34/2006, of 30 March, published in Official Gazette of October 31, 2006 and Royal Decree 775/2011, of June 3, published in BOE of 16 June 2011) to obtain the professional title of lawyer and the professional title of attorney court. - Working at the graduate / law may choose to advance in overcoming a competition or opposition judge, prosecutor, lawyer, military legal corps, counsel for the Public Service, notary, registrar of property and commercial, clerk, diplomat, inspector, inspector of Labor, Secretary of local government auditor, senior technical public administration (national, regional and local), official of the European Union, etc.. - You can also opt for teaching and research.
