Basic information
This course aims to offer teachers and staff of educational institutions knowledge and strategies to effectively face the change in the educational paradigm that the teaching community has had to face in recent months. There are some places reserved for future teachers.
Participants who pass this course will receive a certificate issued by the José Ortega y Gasset-Gregorio Marañón Foundation.
Successful completion of this course and those entitled "Digital skills for the classroom" and "Effective communication in virtual and face-to-face environments" entitles you to the "Diploma in Digital Education", the title of Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset . The program consists of five modules:
- Module 1. The paradigm shift in education
- Module 2. Introduction to neuroeducation and the design of online courses
- Module 3. Virtual communities and cognitive functions associated with learning
- Module 4. Active learning methodologies in e-learning to enhance our cognitive functions
- Module 5. Handling personal difficulties and time management in e-learning
The number of teaching hours, which include synchronous and asynchronous sessions and personal and team work, is 25.
Dates and Hours
The course will be held from March 8 to 27, 2021.
It consists of 25 teaching hours, which include synchronous and asynchronous sessions and personal and team work. The synchronous sessions will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Madrid time, and will be recorded for those participants who could not attend them. However, given the dynamics of the sessions, stakeholders are strongly encouraged to log in to the synchronous sessions at the time of the session.
