Program Description

What are the objectives of this course?

Students will get to grips with the skills needed to create web pages that easily adapt to display on smartphones, tablets, gaming devices and smart TVs. The CIW HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist exam (1D0-620) lasts for 75 minutes and contains 55 questions testing candidates’ knowledge of the study content.

  • Validate HTML5 code
  • Identify ways to determine browser compatibility for a page or device
  • Implement HTML5 forms
  • Use CSS3 to shape content on the page

  • Design pages for a cloud-based storefront

Who is it intended for?

This course and exam are for anyone who has taken the Site Development Associate course and is looking to take the next step in their web development journey, alternatively, if you have basic knowledge of the development trifecta it’s equally suited.

Requirements

There are no official pre-requisites to take this course but we recommend students to have a basic knowledge of the development technologies included.

What marks this course apart?

Students who pass this course and exam will have the knowledge and certification to prove they are capable of functioning in roles such as web designer, mobile applications developer and senior web developer.
