Together with your class you will read these stories and discuss the original meaning of the Greek text.

Koine Greek is an incredibly spiritual language, and the text has many layers of meaning that we often lose is translations. A great example is found in the gospel of John when Jesus says “and the word was god”. Have you ever wondered about the deeper meaning of this sentences? In Biblical Koine Greek, the term used for “WORD” is “LOGOS”, but “LOGOS” also means “reason” and “Logic”. This shows us that the deeper meaning of the gospel of John is “God is the reason, the order behind all things”.
